History
Two Companies, Same Ownership, the Best of Both Worlds
Founded in 1989 by Saz Yakis, our parent company Valley Fab Corp began as a general metal fabrication shop with one employee. The company progressed building compost equipment and irrigator reel equipment as its prime product line. Leo Yakis joined Saz in the business in 1994.
In 2003, the Yakis brothers formed a sister company, Newave Tower Components, to serve the cell tower industry.
In 2010, they added a distribution warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona to better serve the Southwest. As the company grew the Washington office and warehouse in 2016, and most recently the Montana facility in 2018.
